Purling Water

Purling Water, 16" X 20", Oil on panel
Here is a recent painting of the stream, at Congkak recreational park. I spent a number of shoots during the trip that allow me to capture and study on the sunlight effects that have been directly effected the mood of the entire scenery and composition as well. I spent couple of weeks to finish it intermittently. Throughout the painting process, I didn't not using the proper techniques or process. But completely relied on my feeling on this piece and tried to bring out some of the facts from my studies. Please feel free to drop me some lines.

Drawing like a kid

Clouds at Dusk 8.5" x 11", Oil pastel on canvas panel
Generally, oil pastel is meant for children drawing. For this piece, I have chosen a small size of canvas panel with oil pastel and I enjoyed the drawing just like a kid does. :)
